RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage business analysis projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring all milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

Business Analysis:

  • Meeting owner, responsible for managing meeting administration, timing and follow-ups. Attach relevant pre-reads – where needed, include pre-reads with the meeting invite.
  • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT solutions.
  • Perform data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Presentation and Communication:

  • Create compelling presentations using PowerPoint to communicate project updates, analysis findings, and strategic recommendations.
  • Use storytelling techniques to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement and Change management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather input and feedback, share outputs of meetings to relevant stakeholders
  • Share the teams’ vision and mission across the organization
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Foster a community of learning and development and growth mindset

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and project management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven experience in project management, including leading complex projects in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
