We are inviting you to apply for our Assistant Housekeeping Director position. In this role, you would be responsible for the efficient and effective daily operation relating to the department - as set forth by resort standards - and will administer the supervision of all housekeeping staff.


Requirements:

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English, while Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience with hotels and/or resorts, more than 300 rooms.
  • Having a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day operations of a hotel/resort would be helpful.
  • Ability to understand and effectively utilize computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Property or Lodging Management Systems.
  • Must be able to efficiently process and export data from Time/Attendance and other property tools.


Physical Requirements:

  • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
