Regional Coordinator West TN – Full-Time
The Regional Coordinator for West TN will supervise and provide support to the leaders of multiple Isaiah 117 House locations in a region particularly including the counties of Shelby, Sumner, Robertson, and Gibson/Dyer/Crockett.
SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check-in regularly with Expansions & Locations discussing goals & challenges of their individual location, leadership growth, and personal life
- Assist with expansion
- Assist Location Leaders & their team with opening a home, house operations, and planning special events
- Gather in person with Locations in region as a group or as determined by State Director
- Assist Locations in creating a yearly Engagement Plan (fundraising/community awareness/volunteer engagement)
- Review Engagement plan monthly and support Locations as they facilitate the plan
- Conduct employee evaluations to create action steps encouraging leadership growth, living out the mission, and community engagement. Support and encourage growth towards the recommended actions.
- Assist Locations in the forming of their Local Advisory Team and support Locations in working together with their team
- Lead Locations in planning volunteer trainings.
- Assist Locations with Volunteer approval process and document updates
- Assist Locations in engaging their location’s volunteer teams
- Take call from Regional Department “gatekeepers” to approve/deny mingling of cases for guests in home during regular business hours
- Support Locations in open home while serving guests (answering questions, checking in, etc.)
- Participate in rotation of on-call responsibilities for after business hours/weekend with other Regional Coordinators
- Monitor recertification timelines of volunteer records, and support Locations for volunteer recertification renewals
- Coordinate quarterly caregiver training for your region’s open homes
- Send birthday greetings and gifts to staff in your region
- Review Local Advisory Teams minutes/notes and discuss concerns with Locations and State Director (Office Manager saves to SharePoint)
- Build relationships with regional DCS lead staff and establish a regular meeting schedule
- Approve time off requests and assist in coordinating the Locations on-call schedule
- Approve timesheets and expense reports bi-weekly
- Support Locations with their End of Month reports as needed
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend required meetings: virtual/in-person
- Attend Regional Coordinator meetings with State Director
- Plan & lead Location meetings
- Compile Regional Guest & Volunteer records on the org database (SharePoint)
- Assist with training of as needed
- Update State Director on needs/concerns from region of support
- Attend kick off events, groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, and luncheons in region of support
- Attend other fundraising/awareness events in region when possible
- Attend all organizational trainings/retreats/conferences & assist with setup/training as needed
- On-call responsibilities will occur periodically
