Position Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at managing both processes and people. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Oversee and review ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. • Maintain and ensure accuracy of the general ledger. • Coordinate and manage annual audits and compliance requirements. • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties (e.g., vendors, lenders). • Partner with other departments to evaluate financial impact of strategies, objectives, and decisions. • Provide financial analysis focused on capital investments, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations. • Lead and mentor team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective management of daily responsibilities. • Lead special projects as assigned by the VP of Finance or Senior Manager of Finance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or related field. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across diverse markets. Education / Training / CertificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or CMA a plus). 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience; prior management experience preferred. Related ExperienceAdvanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment. Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering collaboration and accountability.
