Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Software Vehicle Test Engineer/Operator for testing ADAS features. The client is a Fortune 100 semiconductor company headquartered in Santa Clara.
Pay Rate: $40-$60
On a day to day basis this individual will be performing the following tasks:
-Handle end-to-end AV software testing for autonomous driving functions (like ACC, LK etc) & parking, collaborating with teams across NVIDIA Automotive platform.
-Validate NVIDIA Drive product in the car and review requirements, develop test metrics and establish KPI-metrics evaluation.
-Design test routes and perform in-car tests at larger scale to ensure SW quality could match expectations of the end user.
-Report events as per the defined protocols including Safety and work with collaborators to improve the reports, communication.
-Travel to different locations to perform in-car testing based on test plans to collect proving ground and public road scenarios to ensure comprehensive real-world testing for ADAS/AS SW features.
-Collect quality and valuable expert feedback from in-car test drives and present them with multi-functional feature PICs/Leads.
-Debugging issues, collaborating with engineers to identify root causes, and chip in to process improvements.
