As Director of Product Marketing you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the MOSFET Business Unit. You will be responsible for creating technology and product roadmaps aligned to the needs of key customers and in close collaboration with R&D and Product Engineering. You will provide tools, knowhow and selling strategies to Vishay colleagues in the field and as a team grow revenue and market share in line with profitability goals.Job Location: The preferred location for this position is located San Jose, CA, which is well known as a vibrant city with many advantages that make it an attractive place to live. From its diverse culture, quality education, and thriving job market to its excellent weather and entertainment options, San Jose has much to offer residents.What you will be doing:Possess and maintain an in-depth understanding of the current requirements and future direction for Power MOSFETs in automotive applicationsOwn and manage the Automotive MOSFET product and technology roadmapsAchieve new product development and release goals by leading the device definition and business justification activitiesProvide key inputs to R&D to define the technical requirements of the next generations of MOSFET silicon and packaging technologiesDevelop compelling product promotion and launch collateralInspire and continuously enable Sales through product training and end-customer supportOversee product pricing strategies and approvals and provide inputs to sales for annual price negotiationsCoordinate with regional teams to ensure strategies and tactics are well aligned with and prioritized to evolving business and market conditionsWhat you will bring along:15+ years of industry experience in the semiconductor field and 5+ years working with Automotive grade products and customersBachelor's degree in Engineering and preferably experience with Power Electronics / Power TransistorsFamiliar with AEC-Q and the automotive mindsetEstablished experience in the major disciplines of marketing including product definition, positioning, pricing, and promotionKnowledge of the semiconductor industry landscape with particular attention to automotive dower devicesAbility to negotiate, coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional technical and international, sales and operations teamsUnderstand how to make a business successful and drive actions to closureExceptional communication and presentation skillsExcellent problem-solving skills able to identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement and assesses viable solutions.
