Industrial Program ManagerYou will serve as an Industrial Program Manager in the Operations Forces Support Department (N3) of Commander Navy Region Hawaii. Responsibilities include conducting or directing on-site surveys to determine maintenance and repair needs, overseeing the implementation of maintenance, repair, and overhaul requirements of assigned assets, monitoring Government Quality Assurance Plans and contract deliverables, and developing policies for the overhaul and repairs pertaining to all barges, service craft, and watercraft assigned to CNRH and JBPHH.Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical guidance and developing policies for the overhaul and repairs pertaining to all barges, service craft, and watercraft; developing and maintaining a long-range overhaul/repair schedule for all vessels and harbor support equipment; developing life cycle studies (including financial forecasting for program equipment) to project replacement or overhaul of major equipment (barges, service craft, watercraft); overseeing the implementation of vessel routine preventative maintenance programs.Additional information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-SeriesThis position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
