POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is a key member of the site leadership team and will report directly to the CFO. This role is instrumental to define strategy and manage business performance including all financial analysis of forecasts and actual performance, business drivers, and operational metrics.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Preparation and ownership of monthly, quarterly, yearly financial package to ownership and external accountants.
- Maintenance of the General Ledger
- Monitor and communicate job profitability and oversee job costing system
- Monitors the company’s internal control environment and controllership function to ensure compliance and strong accounting processes
- Assists with implementation of changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the Company
- Oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable/and collection, payroll
- Responsible for coordination/preparation of audits (workers compensation and sale tax audits)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, CPA preferred
- Must have minimum 7 years in manufacturing environment
- Project accounting experience is preferred
- Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and bank working knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a complete manner
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
