In-House Litigation Attorney

A leading real estate company in Orange County is seeking an In-House Litigation Attorney to join their growing legal department. This attorney will focus on housing and landlord/tenant litigation. This attorney will oversee claims from residents regarding habitability and HOA issues, as well as manage outside counsel.
Must-Haves:
- Attorney with 5+ years of real estate experience, with 3 years of related law firm experience
- At least 3 years of civil litigation, discovery, or insured claims experience
- Experience providing legal support to single-family or multifamily residential clients preferred
- CA bar license
- Ability to commute to Tustin 3-4 days per week.
Details of Role:
· Hours: Roughly 8am to 5pm. There could be some flexibility on start/end time, but should be general business hours. Minus certain busy seasons, crazy OT is not the norm.
· Hybrid Schedule: In the office Tuesday-Thursday, from home Monday + Friday. This is subject to change.
· Profile that would be a fit:
o Professional service mindset, do-it-all mentality (not someone who says “that is not in my job description”)
o Someone who believes in the benefits of AI and technology (not someone who fights it)
