A Director at Capgemini Invent builds strategic, long-term accounts to manage and develop the business within those clients. In addition to the sales and business development responsibilities, Directors are also expected to lead programs and multi-workstream engagements, and be highly involved in practice leadership, driving thought and solution development, overseeing internal activities, and serving as a member of the Capgemini Invent NA leadership team.


As a Director in the Data Driven Transformation Practice of Capgemini Invent you will help clients in the manufacturing sectors transform and improve their operations by leveraging insights from underlying business, process and machine data. You will be a provide supervision and hands on delivery - advising our clients and teams of engineers on solution approach, design, implementation, and roll-out of technical solutions.


You are a key expert in growing our business and securing the delivery - building innovative AI Analytics solutions and can implement those by yourself or together with a team of consultants, data scientists, and engineers from client side and Capgemini.


Responsibilities:

  • Leverage new and existing executive-level relationships to grow a sustainable network of clients
  • Partner with other internal leaders across capability areas and industries to design and sell profitable business and digital transformation programs
  • Develop new client relationships through various means with support from Vice Presidents
  • You will accelerate our capabilities of advisory services around Data Strategy / Roadmap, including key Data & AI capabilities such as Gen AI Strategy, governance and operating model design, AI ethics and guardrails, and the right ecosystem.
  • You will be an expert in and help run energetic workshops with clients to identify pain-points, desires, as-is situation, solution path, solution design, etc.
  • You will define and own solution approaches, and technical designs and advise on solution development, testing and roll-out.
  • You will lead teams of technical experts and engineers that help build technical solutions – guiding them in build components of technical solutions on your own (e.g. ML Models, anomaly detection algorithms, etc.) while building a holistic view of the clients’ challenges – beyond technical aspects (business readiness, deployment strategy…)
  • You will find and cultivate opportunities for improvement and grow the business within your space
  • You will help promote program/ solution/ team success internally and at the client
  • You will contribute and drive some of the AI / Analytics deals to grow our team
  • You will build client trust and close collaboration to drive the projects and manage the risks
  • You will manage some AI / Analytics consultants to grow them as part of growing the practice


Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree, B.S. (M.S. or MBA with STEM background preferred)
  • Data Strategy & Data Governance expertise
  • Customer Analytics, or/and Intelligent Industry Analytics (Smart Plant / Manufacturing, Smart Supply Chain etc.) expertise
  • Experience in delivering AI / Analytics use cases
  • Strong familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts such as, IoT, Edge, Data Hub, predictive maintenance, Digital thread, control tower and others would be a great advantage
  • Knowledge of Data Standards and Manufacturing Standards and Capabilities
  • Experience in process mapping and ability to identify system / process weaknesses and areas for possible issues.


Functionally:

  • You have great expertise in building customer centric Data, AI and Analytics capabilities to support clients in their business transformation at scale.
  • You understand the value of data and have experience in processing transactional and time-series data from various sources.
  • You have great knowledge and experience in digital signal processing, statistical process control and machine learning.
  • You know data acquisition, distribution, processing and visualization technologies used in the manufacturing domain (sensors, IoT, data platforms, dashboarding and BI tools).
  • You can explain complex subjects simply and clearly to technical experts and business experts alike.
  • You can identify opportunities for improvement, define and cultivate use cases and create associated business cases.
