Salesforce Administrator / CRM Specialist

Onsite in New York, NY 3 days a week

They are also using Salesforce for different things – they have 2 SF admins on the team

This person will make 3

Salesforce Administration experience is the day to day

Must have a background in accounting and finance, with the ability to understand and address financial system integrations - Someone who has set up accounting and financial modules or supported an accounting/financial department.

They will work on a variety of applications including billing, invoicing, reconciliation, AR, general ledger, approval process (building workflows for this process)

Good solid knowledge around various CRM systems is beneficial

Need a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.

Currently using Great Plains Dynamics for all of financials, billing, invoicing, AR, AP, etc.

MS Dynamics and SAP are a plus – the more CRM and ERP, the better

Their ERP systems tie into CRM systems so broad knowledge

They are thinking about migrating from GP Dynamics to either Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite (not sure yet) but this won’t take place until next, if at all

This person can be part of this decision and have influence

Personality and culture fit are important – someone adaptable and flexible who wants to learn


Soft Skills

Project management experience, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.

Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to technical challenges.

Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator) are a plus

Must exhibit a positive, cooperative, and friendly attitude, especially under pressure


Position Summary:

Seeking a dynamic technology engineer with expertise in Salesforce administration, a solid foundation in accounting and finance business processes, and demonstrated project management experience. This position will work closely with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Accounting and Product leaders to achieve the highest level of service and solution development for the company’s technology platforms. Responsibilities:

- Provide top-notch technical support for enterprise-level clients, addressing issues related to Salesforce implementation and administration.

- Demonstrate expertise in Salesforce platform customization, configuration, and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.

- Utilize accounting and finance knowledge to assist clients with financial systems and resolving related issues.

- Manage and coordinate projects, applying project management skills to ensure timely and successful implementation of solutions.

-Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solution designs

- Play a key role in identifying emerging technology solutions that align with business needs and operational efficiencies.

- Managing and Troubleshooting multi-system integrations and syncs.

- Assist in developing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures.
