Job Description:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Test Lead to join their dynamic team. This critical role involves coordinating comprehensive test plans to ensure the highest quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have extensive test management expertise and a strong ability to drive quality assurance initiatives, working closely with functional leads who will create the actual test scripts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Lead the development and implementation of test plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Establish and maintain the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) governance framework to ensure consistent testing practices.
- Oversee change management controls to facilitate smooth transitions and ensure that all changes are systematically tracked and documented.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely identification, documentation, and resolution of issues.
- Identify and manage dependencies related to data migration and integrations at the unit test level to minimize risks and ensure a seamless testing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and understanding of testing objectives and requirements.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance test management, with a proven track record of leading testing initiatives in complex projects.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, particularly in UAT and QAT environments.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate testing strategies and results to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of data migration processes and integration testing is a plus.
