SOUND GOOD? GREAT. HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Evaluate loss exposures in terms of past and potential frequency and severity and recommend optimum methods for reducing risk.
  • Conduct a variety of risk assessments for CIRMA's municipal and school district leadership.
  • Plan, coordinate, develop and administer training and education programs through of variety of delivery platforms.
  • Develop and present executive-level analytical reports focused on loss reduction and prevention.
  • Develop and implement tailored risk management programs at all levels of executive management.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL NEED TO BRING THE FOLLOWING SKILLS TO THE TABLE:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Public Entity Risk Management experience a plus.
  • Ability to benchmark, measure and analyze loss trends.
  • Strong focus on customer service to exceed our member expectations.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and to juggle competing priorities.
  • Have a growth mindset that allows for continuous improvement to work product, service delivery, in a collaborative way that provides consistent innovation.
  • Professional designations are preferred.

YOU'LL ALSO NEED THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:

  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the drive to meet problem solving challenges with thigh degree of ownership and delivery.
  • Keen writing skills - ability to produce clear, concise and high quality technical and business documents.
  • A desire to work collaboratively in cross functional teams.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienced.
  • Valid driver's license.
