Essential Job Functions
- Acquire large and high priority customers from various industries
- Works in and out of the office cultivating business relationships to expand our customer base.
- Identifies and cultivates business opportunities from personal network
- Sells across entire portfolio of services and continually builds market share by establishing contact, developing relationships and recommending solutions for customers
- Works closely with Pricing, Market Management and Marketing to create and deliver growth proposals
- Leverages social media sales platforms and data tools, such as LinkedIn, Eloqua and Avention, to expand network
- Keeps abreast of industry events and initiatives and effectively communicates them to assigned customers and targets
- Communicates customer expectations via initial on-boarding process
- Utilizes sales tools and reporting processes to collect, analyze and summarize information in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintains professional knowledge and develops network by attending key industry events as assigned
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree preferred. Major or significant coursework in logistics and supply chain management a plus
- Strong presentation skills to executive audience required
- Strong writing and verbal communication aptitude and proven ability to provide creative suggestions and vision relative
