System Engineer

Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-10 years of experience in a Systems Engineering role
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (Azure).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems (Active Directory, GPOs, etc.).
- Experience with Microsoft networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Managing Exchange online in Office 365
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Plus:
- Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, etc.).
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) methodologies.
- Experience with Citrix (environment has 1000 users on Citrix platform)
Day-to-day:
- In this role, your primary focus will be handling ticket escalations from Level 1 Systems Engineers. You will be collaborating with team members and end-users to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network issues. Documentation of technical procedures and solutions is imperative in this role. Other responsibilities include implementing and configuring Microsoft server technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, etc.), perform system maintenance and updates. You will be working in a VMWare shop for Virtualization, Managing Exchange in Office 365 and managing an on-prem exchange server. This environment has 6k workstations and 10k users.
