Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce & Marketing, the Senior E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for cultivating the experience of League Outfitter’s fast-growing online store. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the organization and display of products across League Outfitters’ large and constantly changing catalog to drive customer engagement and improve conversion rates. You will be partnering closely with League Outfitters Third-Party partners for Web Development as well as SEM, SEO, Social, and E-mail marketing.


Responsibilities:

· Manage and train e-commerce merchandisers to maintain excellent product listings with the best possible assets including photography, videography, and size charts.

  • Create and execute site promotional content (i.e., content assets, banners, category listing promo slots, shipping promotions, etc.)
  • Build out promotional and/or event-based categories, product listing page(s) and landing pages.
  • Implement website optimizations such as product recommendations, upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and search improvements.
  • Regularly audit and shop the site for product or site issues. Ability to troubleshoot site issues and communicate issues to web development team.
  • Serve as subject matter expert within the organization around product/category/brand performance online.
  • Maintain & update the Shopify Theme (Expanse theme experience a plus)
  • Weekly, monthly, and annual KPI development and reporting. Analyze, understand, and react to KPI reports.
  • Profitably acquire new customers through digital advertising, SEM, SEO, affiliate marketing, display advertising, social media, and other direct marketing programs.
  • Build out an annual promotional calendar and communicate with third-party marketing teams.
  • Manage and direct third-party marketing teams.


Required Skills:

  • Strong interest in, and an understanding of, the sporting goods and/or fashion industries.
  • Technically oriented to be able to implement changes within Shopify Plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to compile, consume, understand, and create action plans to execute on resulting data.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus collection build outs, filtering, and navigation set-up and maintenance.
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams.
  • A high degree of motivation, flexibility, and creativity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as it relates to both senior leadership and peers.
  • Hands on experience with Google & Bing Adwords, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics, Klaviyo or similar platforms.
  • Organized self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks.


Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in development languages including JavaScript, & HTML
  • Knowledge of industry trends and customer behaviors.
  • Knowledge of behaviors and decision trees to create basic analytical reports to identify site improvement areas.
  • Understanding of E-commerce compliance to include WCAG, Consumer Data Protection, etc.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years’ Direct to Consumer e-commerce experience. (Preferably using Shopify Plus)
  • 3+ years’ Digital Marketing
  • 3+ years’ Direct to Consumer e-commerce managerial experience
