My client seeks a Mechanical Field Engineer for a full time permanent role to join their project site for UTILITY-SCALE SOLAR in the MISO territory. This opportunity offers a strong base and bonus and full time benefits as well as ample potential for upward mobility within a company known for its high employee retention rate.


Mechanical Field Engineer

Responsibilities:

* Understand and resolve discrepancies in project scope, contracts, and plans.

* Serve as a technical liaison among site teams, engineers, and management.

* Support work planning, problem resolution, and track progress on site.

* Manage subcontractor interfaces and document Lessons Learned.

* Ensure material compliance, prepare contract scopes, and manage mechanical punch lists.

* Integrate mechanical documentation for turnover packages and assist in commissioning.

* Build work packages, resolve payroll issues, and coordinate schedules.

* Generate and track RFIs, reporting to the Project General Superintendent.


Qualifications:

* 2-3 years of experience in power plant, industrial, or renewable construction (preferred).

* Ability to travel and relocate as required.

* Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

* Commitment to safety, quality, ethics, and integrity.

* Good interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft programs.
