Position Description:

Faith Group, LLC is seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR Administration/Operations and will be tasked with handling a wide range of responsibilities, from recruitment to employee relations and compliance. This role will be responsible for helping develop, communicate, and administer HR policies and programs under the direction of HR Leadership. This role is pivotal in supporting our workforce and ensuring HR initiatives align with organizational goals. Location:

This is a Monday-Friday in-person role reporting to our Maplewood, MO office.


Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in facilitating full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Conduct orientation and onboarding sessions and facilitate new hire training programs.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Be available as point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Administer employee engagement initiatives and assist in fostering a positive work environment.
  • Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend effective resolutions.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity & inclusion and overall employee experience.


HR Administration:

  • Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Understand and process benefits administration, collaborating with finance and external providers as necessary.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related reports and metrics to management and leadership.

Compliance and Policy Implementation:

  • Stay current with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance across all HR functions.
  • Analyze, develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions
  • Conduct periodic audits to assess and mitigate compliance risks.

Training and Development:

  • Assist in coordinating and developing training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Support career development initiatives and succession planning efforts by understanding employee needs and career goals, as well as company needs and department structures.

HR Projects and Initiatives:

  • Participate in HR projects such as compensation reviews, performance management, and HRIS enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with overall organizational objectives.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree. BS in Human Resources or relevant field a plus

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant HR experience with demonstrated ability to exercise appropriate judgment
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are a necessity of this role
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite. Paycor experience a plus
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus
