Summary of Position

The Manufacturing Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of human plasma into protein intermediates, ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements and safety regulations while leading a team of technicians and operators.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to Technicians/Operators/Associates
  • Schedule workload for shifts and ensure smooth transitions
  • Initiate Incident Notifications and participate in Failure Mode Analysis
  • Ensure availability of production materials and PPE
  • Oversee employee training and compliance with cGMPs and SOPs
  • Develop SOPs and specifications as required
  • Lead safety initiatives and participate in company-wide safety teams
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements, including batch record review
  • Manage performance of direct reports, including reviews and disciplinary actions
  • Participate in hiring to maintain appropriate staffing levels
  • Maintain work areas in compliance with cGMP and internal requirements
  • Keep work areas in EH&S / GMP regulatory audit-ready condition


Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum three (3) years in a supervisory role
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Database management
  • Comprehensive understanding of global cGMPs, regulations, and validation requirements
