BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Onsite ServiceNow Developer for an opportunity in Jefferson City, MO


Position Title: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Onsite – Jefferson City, MO

Anticipated Start Date: Sept 2nd

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 6+ Months (Possibility of extension)

Job Type: [FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY)], [CONTRACT], [Onsite]

Pay Range: $60/hr - $65/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirements:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for ITSM
  • ITSM, ITOM, ITIL


Job Description:

Integration and Automation: Proficiency in integrating ServiceNow with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and Integration Hub. Experience with orchestration and automation workflows using Flow Designer and Integration Hub.

ServiceNow Platform Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and components. Proficiency in developing and customizing applications using ServiceNow tools and APIs.

ITSM and ITOM Expertise: Extensive experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog. Strong understanding of IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.

Scripting and Development Skills: Advanced scripting capabilities with JavaScript within the ServiceNow framework. Experience with Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Data Policies. Ability to develop custom applications, integrations, and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform.

ServiceNow Best Practices: Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices for IT service management. Knowledge of ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, and governance.

Troubleshooting and Debugging: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions within ServiceNow applications.

Documentation and Communication: Ability to create technical design documentation, specifications, and test plans. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members effectively.

Project Management and Leadership: Experience participating in ServiceNow implementation projects. Ability to provide technical guidance to junior developers, when needed.
