Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the company's fleet.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and other federal and state transportation laws.
  • Develop and implement efficient fleet management strategies to optimize performance.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repair of vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Manage and train fleet personnel, including drivers, mechanics, and support staff.
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle registrations, insurance, and inspections.
  • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on safety and quality.
  • Coordinate with various departments to meet logistical requirements.
  • Handle emergency situations and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fleet Supervisor, preferably within the agriculture or related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is mandatory.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
