Rate of Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour based on experience

Essential Job Duties:
  • Provides assistance with personal care, bathing, and dressing
  • Provides caring companionship and conversation
  • Provides escort services, supervision and assistance to resident when shopping, running errands and going to medical appointments
  • Encourages resident to be active and encourages independence
  • Supervises and/or assists resident with household tasks that the resident cannot do independently.
  • Assists in maintaining a safe environment.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of client status.
  • Follows all policies and procedures of the company.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification or must obtain within 3 months of hire.

Preferred:
  • One year or more experience working with seniors.
  • Six months or more experience working with seniors providing dementia level care.

Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine status.
