Overview

We are a reputable home care provider seeking an experienced HR Specialist to lead our team's operations and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.

Job Summary:

  • Design and implement effective HR policies, procedures, and processes to ensure seamless execution of day-to-day tasks.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train caregivers, ensuring their skills meet the company's high standards.
  • Develop and execute training programs to enhance caregivers' knowledge and expertise.
  • Maintain accurate records, manage HR databases using Paylocity HRS system, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support HR initiatives, foster open communication, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Development: Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage caregiver hiring, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Training Programs: Create and deliver training programs to enhance caregivers' skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR databases using Paylocity HRS system.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to support HR initiatives and effective communication.

Qualifications

  • Language Skills: Fluent in Russian (verbal) and English (written and verbal).
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in Paylocity HRS system.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of HR management experience; healthcare or home care industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
