Job Title: Equipment Procurement Coordinator

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for supporting the Equipment Procurement Manager in corporate purchasing functions and management of equipment data and reporting.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assists with vehicle/equipment purchase preparation
  • Create and issue purchase orders for equipment
  • Review invoices and statements for accuracy
  • Track and document pertinent data, purchase timelines, and prepare corresponding reports
  • Document Specifications created by INTREN for Equipment and Tooling using Adobe.
  • Document Intren Procurement procedures
  • Document Intren Up-fit procedures
  • Uses analytical tools and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Tracks and assists with disposal of assets from INTREN.
  • Auditing vendor spending and regional procurement representative’s compliance with corporate policies
  • Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor



DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High school degree or equivalent. Some college preferred.
  • Effective analysis/problem-solving and decision making.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Vista/Viewpoint or similar ERP system preferred.
  • Basic understanding of construction vehicles and equipment preferred.
  • Must be highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet varying deadlines.
  • Experience in Procurement or Accounting environment preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
