Technical Product Owner

An employer is seeking a Product Owner to sit Hybrid in the north Charlotte, NC area. This person will act as a Product Owner in the supply chain area and finance area and multitask across different projects. They will work directly with client Delivery Managers, Product Managers, Solution Architects, Technical Leads & client SMEs to thoroughly understand the business process and associated functional / technical requirements. This person needs to be able to work on requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis based on the business requirements, documentation (confluence / Jira), process flow mapping, process flow diagrams etc. They will also provide key Functional consulting support from onsite and offshore functional / technical team and provide extensive support to users during UAT with proper user training material / knowledge transfer documentation.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner.
  • Preference for candidates who have experience with Supply Chain Management functions within Oracle EBS.
  • Background and understanding of Supply Chain and/or Finance
  • Supply Chain experience with warehouse set up, receiving configurations, Order Management for Vendor Direct Shipments and Domestic/International shipments
  • Financial experience with statutory documents, Accounts Receivable configurations and validations against OM, Subledger accounting reconciliation
  • Exposure to Agile /Scrum methodologies - Particularly in a Product Owner role in Supply Chain area
  • Able to work on Requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis based on business requirements, documentation (Confluence /Jira), Process flow mapping, Visio Process flow diagrams etc.


Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, Costing and WMS (Preferred).
  • Very good understanding of P2P & O2C flows, Integrations with 3rd party systems, EDI & API Integrations (Preferred)
  • Experience implementing a new ERP
