Job Description:
- This can be a remote opportunity.
- Client is responsible for all aspects of technical skills training for the majority of our workforce.
- This role will work directly as part of the team supporting Repair & Maintenance and Drops, Installs & Repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of training programs for Fiber Technical Operations.
- Steer Fiber training need evaluations to identify, define, and assess the current and future capabilities.
- Act as the learning business partner and consultant to Fiber Technical Operations.
- Develop training program with a repeatable framework that easily scales to other vendors or operational functions.
- The Instructional Designer analyzes material and supporting information provided by business stakeholders, uses this analysis to design appropriate learning interventions, and develops the learning interventions
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Learning content development
- Learning objectives creation
- Detailed design of learning content
Mandatory:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in corporate learning & development, preferably creating technical training content.
- Experience in creating user-centered learning solutions for Fiber Sales & Customer Service teams including multiple delivery methods including instructor-led, virtual classroom, and on-demand instruction.
- Managing relationships and developing training content with key Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Implementing training tools that increased the scalability, impact, and retention of Fiber training.
- Experience in designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for data centres.
- Experienced in creating blended learning solutions.
- Specific Tools or Applications experience: Must be proficient in Articulate 360 Storyline and Articulate 360 Rise.
Desired:
- Experience in video production, graphic design, animation, and micro-learning development
Education:
- Instructional Design, Communication, or relevant bachelor’s degree preferred.
