The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in quality management and a proven track record of excellence in the plastics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Quality Engineering Team: Oversee the quality engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- ISO Compliance: Ensure all plant locations comply with ISO standards, including regular audits, documentation, and continuous monitoring of processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all plant locations to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Quality Management Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance efficiency and quality.
- Supplier Quality Management: Manage supplier quality performance, conduct supplier audits, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure consistent quality of raw materials and components.
- Recruitment and Talent Development: Assist with hiring efforts at other plant locations, identifying and attracting top talent to build a strong quality engineering team across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
