Responsibilities -


  • Authorize and approve project personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, field design change requests, and other project-related actions.
  • Provide clear direction and leadership to the project team, including subcontractors, vendors, owners, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions such as scheduling, engineering, and material control. Provide day-to-day direction to project administrative staff in areas like accounting and purchasing.
  • Assist in developing and implementing project procedures, working documents, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures and protocols.
  • Follow, implement, and enforce safety policies, including conducting job safety meetings, ensuring the proper use of safety equipment, and ensuring compliance by subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Supervise salaried employees, craft employees, and other contractors as required by the contract.
  • Provide technical assistance, including interpreting drawings and recommending construction methods and equipment.
  • Oversee the entire construction effort to ensure the project is built according to design, budget, and schedule, while interfacing with client representatives, government officials, and other contractors.
  • Be willing to travel as needed.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with individuals or groups such as customers, suppliers, and employees to maintain relationships and resolve issues.
  • Communicate and reinforce the company's vision, mission, and values.
