As an Assistant Superintendent, you will be integral to our project execution team. You will collaborate with seasoned Senior Superintendents and Project Managers, gaining essential hands-on experience and mentorship. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for individuals eager to progress in the commercial construction field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing construction sites, coordinating subcontractors, and supervising personnel to ensure efficient operations.
- Help enforce safety regulations and maintain a secure working environment for all personnel on site.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project timelines to guarantee timely achievement of milestones.
- Engage in quality assurance processes to uphold superior workmanship, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Support the preparation and upkeep of project documentation, including daily logs and reports, to maintain accurate records of progress.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the site, fostering a professional and efficient working atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in commercial construction, demonstrating a successful track record in project support.
- Proven ability to assist in achieving construction objectives and timelines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and technological communication skills.
- Strong multitasking capabilities and effective prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional time management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Logical reasoning with a practical approach to challenges.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools, with a readiness to learn new technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards on all job sites.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000-$85,000 + Per Diem
