Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Take ownership of the entire individual project life cycle, from inception to deployment and post-deployment support, for software development projects.
  • Concurrently manage multiple projects, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Effectively manage project scope, issues, and risks.
  • Deliver projects within time, budget, scope and quality.
  • Manage all project and non-project processes that directly or indirectly impact delivery.
  • Manage 3rd Party providers/technical teams (both internal and external to Playtech).
  • Manage stakeholder/management expectations.
  • Ensure project reporting are up to date, and project status and reporting are always accurately maintained.
  • Conduct weekly project/program meetings to discuss project progress, risks, and issues with the relevant operators
  • Be involved in pre-sales/concept stages of upcoming projects.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Must have project management in the gaming industry
  • PMPcertification
  • Knowledge of project management best practices.
  • Technical Background (Academic or recent experience) with a plus for online gaming experience or nearby areas.
  • Recent hands-on Project Management/Delivery experience in a software development environment, with familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Monday.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • High standards of both written and oral communication.
  • Appreciation of both waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies, and the ability to apply them appropriately.
  • A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for learning and growth.
