Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results

· Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method

· Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard and instructions

· Be capable of providing the necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees and Level I radiographers

· Be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method used

· Have basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology

· Adheres to all safety and environmental procedures

· Performs other duties as required

· Actively promote and participate in the Operational Excellence program

· Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above


Required Skills/Education/Experience:

· HS Diploma or GED

· 2 years manufacturing or assembly experience or equivalent

· Previous Level I or II digital radiography certification or equivalent, per NAS410

· Must be able to work overtime with short notice

· Must have excellent Safety record

· Must be able to follow detailed instructions



WORKING CONDITIONS:

Test lab with exposure to sudden, loud noises


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
