Are you a motivated and experienced attorney with a passion for employment law? We are seeking a skilled Employment Law Defense Attorney to join our client's Pasadena, CA office. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience handling employment law matters, with a strong focus on PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) cases and basic employment-related litigation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our employment practice while supporting our broader business litigation efforts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of employment law matters, including PAGA cases, discrimination claims, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related issues.
  • Client Representation: Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings, providing clear and effective advocacy.
  • Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research, prepare detailed case analysis, and develop strategic approaches for case resolution.
  • Litigation Support: Assist in business and commercial litigation matters as needed, leveraging your employment law expertise to support broader legal strategies.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: 2-8 years of experience in employment law defense, with a strong background in handling PAGA cases and other employment-related litigation.
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • License: Active license to practice law in California.
