Engenuity caters to the residential, prosumer and light professional markets. The company has a strong relationship and partnership with key hardlines retailers throughout both the US and Canada. Our company’s products are also sold and distributed by regional and local retailers, independents, value add distributors and direct-to-consumer through our online marketplace.  

 

In 2022, the company received private equity investment in addition to three other businesses that were brought together under one platform. Additionally, the business just completed an acquisition, and the combination of these businesses has created a platform for significant commercial growth in the outdoor power equipment and trailer categories. To drive long-term value creation and growth, Engenuity is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Chief Financial Officer.  

 

Job Summary: 

As a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in sales analytics and commercial pricing, you will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic initiatives of the company. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for analyzing sales data, developing pricing strategies, and providing actionable insights to optimize revenue generation and enhance profitability. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product development teams. 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive sales performance dashboards and reports 
  • Conduct sales forecasting and variance analysis to support budgeting and planning processes 
  • Provide regular insights into sales performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, revenue, mix and margin analysis 
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing strategies that align with business objectives and market dynamics 
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to assess pricing trends and positioning 
  • Evaluate the profitability of existing pricing structures and recommend adjustments as necessary 
  • Develop and implement pricing models and tools to optimize pricing decisions and maximize revenue 
  • Build financial models to support pricing decisions, revenue forecasts, and scenario analysis 
  • Perform sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of pricing changes on financial performance 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial implications of new product launches, promotions, and strategic initiatives 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
  • Prior experience in corporate FP&A preferred 
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance 
  • A strong drive to learn and willingness to assume executive-level responsibility 
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and make key decisions with little guidance 
  • A strong work-ethic and written, verbal and interpersonal skills 
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and financial statement analysis  
  • Ability to work under pressure, while meeting conflicting deadlines 
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skill
