Job Description:

As a Content Marketing Specialist at O’Neil Software, you will be responsible for creating and managing high-quality content across digital platforms to support our marketing objectives. You will work closely with our marketing and creative teams to develop content strategies, create engaging content, and enhance our brand presence. This role also includes executing photography and video production to bring our visual storytelling to life.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Strategy:
  • Develop and execute content strategies that align with marketing goals and target audience needs.
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality written and visual content for social media, websites, blogs, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content that drives brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.


  • Photography and Video Production:
  • Plan, shoot, and edit still photography and video content for various platforms, ensuring a consistent and professional look.
  • Coordinate and manage on-site and off-site photo and video shoots, including logistics and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create video content that supports marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling.


  • Content Optimization and Analytics:
  • Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve visibility.
  • Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure content performance and inform future content strategies.
  • Manage content calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of content.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work with other departments to gather insights and information to create relevant and impactful content.
  • Assist with other marketing activities as needed, including events, product launches, and brand promotions.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional content marketing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of content types.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in content management and social media management platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics tools.
  • Experience with photography and video editing software.
  • Ability to operate photography and video equipment creatively and effectively.
  • Creative Skills:
  • Strong writing and storytelling abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment individually and as part of a team.
