C2's client, a global agency providing package design and brand collateral in print and digital, seeks a talented and organized Social Media Content Designer to support their team on a contract basis for a temporary project ranging from 3 months to 1 year.
The ideal candidate resides in or near Los Angeles, CA, will bring social media content expertise, strong design skills, and experience in food & beverage or health & wellness industries. The right person for the role has a portfolio demonstrating successful creation (including photography, videography and editing) of engaging content. A keen understanding of AI tools for social media content creation is a plus and the ability to participate in in-person shoots in Los Angeles is required.
Start date: As soon as they find the right person
Duration: Full-time, 3 months to 1 year
Location: Los Angeles, CA, must be available for 3-5 in-person shoots per month, although some shoots could be scheduled for the same day(s)
Compensation: Competitive, based on qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality social media content, including 2-3 evergreen video assets and 2-3 social media assets (design, illustration or photography) per month.
- Participate in 3-5 in-person shoots per month to capture content.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance and streamline the content creation process.
- Ensure all content is tailored to the specific nuances and audiences of major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective content strategies.
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of content creation and project management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a social media content designer.
- Strong design skills with proficiency in creating content using flat graphics, gifs and video.
- Understanding and experience with AI tools for social media content creation.
- Available to work in Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) and attend in-person shoots in Los Angeles, CA.
- Experience in the food & beverage or health & fitness industries is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of photography and videography is mandatory, as you will be shooting the content in most cases.
- Basic video editing skills are needed to cut together clips when required.
