Join our dynamic team in Brookline, where you will play a critical role in managing a high-volume Pediatric Department serving over 8,000 patients and their families. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Supervision: Lead, evaluate, and supervise a team of dedicated nurses and medical assistants in a busy pediatric practice. Provide mentorship and support to ensure high standards of patient care and staff performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Office Administrator and Practice Ownership to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Attend meetings with office administrators and nurse managers from other APP practices to foster collaborative relationships and share best practices.
  • Vaccine Program Management: Oversee the vaccine program, ensuring compliance with state vaccine unit guidelines and maintaining the highest standards of care and record-keeping.
  • Quality Control & Lab Maintenance: Manage quality control for lab maintenance, including meeting monthly with the lab consultant to address any issues and ensure adherence to protocols.
  • Supply Management: Oversee the ordering and management of medical supplies for the practice, ensuring availability and proper inventory levels.
  • Patient Scheduling: Collaborate with the front desk team to effectively manage patient scheduling and optimize clinic flow.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Two to three years of experience in Pediatric Nursing, with at least three to five years in a managerial capacity, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
  • Skills: Proven leadership skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. A demonstrated track record of fostering teamwork and collaboration within a healthcare setting.
  • Education: Relevant nursing degree and valid RN license required. Additional certifications in pediatric care or healthcare management are a plus.
