BFS Associates is seeking an experienced Payroll/Human Resources Specialist for a client in the Newton area. This is a great opportunity to gain additional Human Resources exposure.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding process.
- Assist with Employee benefits.
- Provide support with the recruitment process including postings jobs and scheduling interviews.
- Processes bi-weekly and monthly payrolls: prepares time sheet summaries, enters information into payroll service portal, distribute paychecks, resolves employee questions about deductions and paid time off information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two years’ experience working within an HR team.
- Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent follow up skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent judgment and discretion.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications.
- Must be able to effectively handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Paycom experience a plus.
