In this crucial role, you will be responsible for fostering a welcoming and vibrant community for residents, future residents, visitors, and staff. You will wear many hats, but your focus will always be on creating a seamless and positive experience for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team, providing ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Manage the community budget, ensuring financial responsibility and maximizing profitability.
- Oversee the leasing process, including applicant screening, rent collection, and maintaining a professional leasing office environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by building relationships with residents, addressing concerns promptly, and maintaining a safe and clean community.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely work completion and maintain positive relationships.
- Prepare and submit reports to keep stakeholders informed of community performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three or more years of experience in property management, with at least one year in a Community Manager role.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a collaborative environment.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and reporting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and industry best practices.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
