Overview:
We are seeking a proficient Business Systems Analyst with a deep understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (EBS R12), particularly in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) modules. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and implementing solutions within the Oracle EBS environment to streamline financial operations. This position requires expertise in AP, AR, and GL functionalities, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to drive system enhancements and optimizations.
Responsibilities:
Financial Process Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial processes related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the Oracle EBS R12 environment.
System Configuration and Customization:
- Configure Oracle EBS R12 modules, including AP, AR, and GL, to align with business requirements and best practices.
- Customize Oracle EBS functionality to accommodate specific business needs, such as workflow automation and validation rules.
System Integration:
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement integrations between Oracle EBS R12 and other financial systems or third-party applications.
- Ensure seamless data flow and reconciliation between AP, AR, GL, and related modules through effective integration solutions.
User Support and Training:
- Provide ongoing support to end-users for AP, AR, and GL functionalities, addressing system issues and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to promote effective utilization of Oracle EBS R12 features.
System Maintenance and Upgrades:
- Assist in planning and executing system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities for Oracle EBS R12, focusing on AP, AR, and GL modules.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure system stability and data integrity following updates.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and financial processes within Oracle EBS R12.
- Generate financial reports and analytics to provide insights into AP, AR, and GL performance, supporting decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (EBS R12) and expertise in AP, AR, and GL modules.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with system implementation methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve financial objectives.
