Description 

 

As a front-end developer you’ll be working to enhance our web-based apps EcoVisor and PetroVisor. Datagration has built a data platform that allows integration of multiple systems and ability to quickly analyze with ML and other tools and create actionable insights for our customers. Our platform is built using modern best of breed technology such as TypeScript, React, Chakra UI on the front-end. Our backends run as Docker images on Kubernetes with NodeJS and .NET Core. We strive to create a great developer environment (supporting Mac or Windows) and ensure that the development team can focus on building amazing features without being burdened with overhead and complex or archaic systems.

 

Responsibilities


·      Build new features in our React based web app based on our roadmap

·      Collaborate with team to review code changes (PRs)

·      Work closely with Platform development teams

·      Resolve bugs and other maintenance items

·      Research, design, test, implement and manage front-end functionality

·      Identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently develop these modifications

·      Write and implement efficient code

·      Maintain and upgrade existing systems

·      Work closely with other developers, UX designers, business and system analysts


Education and/or Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, electronics, or engineering or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
  • Ability to learn new technologies and codebases quickly
  • Ability to communicate complex procedures to colleagues
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data independently
