Key Responsibilities:

HR Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources department including recruitment onboarding employee relations performance management and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Policy Development & Implementation: Develop implement and maintain HR policies and procedures to cultivate a supportive inclusive and compliant work environment.

Recruitment & Staffing: Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs facilitate recruitment and manage the selection process for the best talent.

Employee Onboarding & Development: Conduct new employee orientations and coordinate ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure employees feel supported and engaged.

Employee Relations & Support: Manage employee relations issues providing guidance and support to both employees and managers to resolve concerns and maintain a harmonious workplace.

Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records and HR databases to facilitate reporting compliance and employee support.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends best practices and updates to employment law particularly in Oregon and California to ensure Agape Hospice remains a competitive employer.


Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor s degree in human resources Business Administration or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of HR experience preferably in healthcare or hospice settings.

Certifications: PHR and/or SHRM certification is preferred.

Skills: Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Qualifications: High proficiency in English (written and verbal); Spanish proficiency is preferred. Working knowledge of California labor laws is highly desirable (training can be provided if needed).
