IDEXX is hiring our next cohort of entry level Software Trainers in our Implementation team


This is a travel/ office based position. Day to day they will be based out of our Frisco, TX office; DFW is the home airport for travel. This position involved up to 75% travel across the USA.


Our Software Trainers are responsible for onboarding new customers to our suite of Veterinary Practise Management Softwares. You will travel on site to our customers veterinary clinics across the USA and work with them to set them up for success on their new software. This involves change management, training, configuration, and deployment of the software to their clinic. You will also coordinate with the wider implementation team to ensure that any issues are raised and addressed, that onboarding projects are handed over internally after being onsite so our customers have a seamless experience.


The primary software you will be onboarding our customers to is ezyVet, our premium cloud based practise management software. But you may also work with our other softwares like Vet Radar, Smart Flow, Neo and others. Our software helps veterinary practices save time, increase revenue, communicate better with their clients, and reduce workload stress. Pets and tech, it’s a winning combo

In This Role you will:


  • Travel onsite to lead the staff through the Go Live week and provide training and support through the change. Perform this service remotely as necessary.
  • Travel expectation is 75% with the remainder being office based.
  • Analyze, develop, and implement process changes to provide improvement in workflow, operational procedures, and other related business areas.
  • Participates in internal projects to implement initiatives; identifies new project opportunities; generates ideas and solutions.
  • Executing slick, efficient processes when delivering customers training services.
  • Provide the direction and execute the configuration of IDEXX practice management software to a high standard that enables the customer to get the optimal results from the solution.
  • Provide exceptional communication to colleagues, co-workers, and customers which results in the person being communicated with feeling engaged, informed and confident of the proposed outcomes.
  • May lead work activities of team members, coordinating daily activities and providing training, coaching and guidance.
  • Execute a professional training services that result in a high level of customer experience where individuals are well trained on IDEXX software platforms and armed with the knowledge to go-live with the solution.
  • Use clear and professional speaking style to enhance customer service.
  • P roject a positive, friendly, helpful and professional company image.


What You Will Need to Succeed:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Ability to travel domestically through the United States, and international travel as required.
  • Data gathering and analytical ability, process improvement skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Project management ability, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both individually and as a team player.
