Farnsworth Group is looking for an Entry-Level Engineer in our Frisco, TX, Lisle, IL, or St. Louis, MO offices. In this capacity, you will collaborate with seasoned engineers on telecommunications and utility projects. This role presents an excellent opportunity to acquire valuable insights and experience in the utility engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of telecommunication and utility-related projects

Conduct site visits including but not limited to surveying, locating, and documenting existing conditions (may involve overnight travel depending on job location)

Analyze roadway plans to identify conflicts with existing utilities

Design telecommunications and other utility projects utilizing MicroStation, AutoCAD, or other design software

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution

0-3 years of relevant experience

Familiarity with transportation plans, telecommunications, or utilities is advantageous

Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a plus

Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is beneficial

Must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to travel and possess a valid driver's license
