Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Functional Lead Guidewire ClaimCenter to join the team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Responsibilities:

  • Solid grasp of Property and Casualty domain to assist business collaborator in reaching to conclusive and prioritized requirement and scope management
  • Guidewire ClaimCenter experience and leading major transformation program
  • Hands-on experience working in Business Analysis practice as Lead Business Analyst, activities includes:
  • Elaborate, document and validate functional and technical requirements
  • Running inception workshops
  • Capture requirement sign-off and work with team to estimate requirement
  • Clarifying requirement to developers and QAs by walkthrough
  • Review and provide sign-off to test cases against each requirement
  • Conduct product demo to program collaborators during sprint review and collect feedback for product improvement
  • Support Guidewire Initiatives that includes projects, improvements, maintenance and regulatory changes as a Senior Business Analyst.
  • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business solutions and business requirements.
  • Analyzes, identifies, and writes detailed description of user requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify Guidewire product.
  • Makes recommendations for business process improvements with a detailed understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the technology needs.
  • Act as functional lead to provide support to other program BAs for their critical queries around domain and product
  • Understand the clients stated and unstated needs and break down the scope
  • Act as a SME and provide overview across client portfolios for multi-functional needs, product knowledge
  • Collaborate with product owners on product definition, work and release planning
  • Maintain relationship with critical client’s collaborator (Business and Technical) from functional point of view

Required Qualifications

  • GW Claimcenter implementation experience
  • Experience in leading inception workshop and leading business requirement sessions
  • Workers Compensation experience
  • Cloud project implementation experience
  • Superb interpersonal skills for active listening, documentation and delivering right message
  • Functional Product Certification (GW ACE, professional or analyst in CC)
  • JIRA or SAFe certification or courses acquired.
  • Preferred Domain certificate (INS, similar)
  • Strong creative and critical thinking skills

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for the position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
