The launch of Tropicana Brands Group represents an exciting fusion of some of the world‘s most beloved and up-and-coming brands in the juice category, including Tropicana, Naked, KeVita, Izze, Dole, Copella, and Punica. Established in 2022 as a joint venture between PAI Partners and PepsiCo, our new company blends the best of two worlds: one steeped in industry-leading expertise and the heritage of prestige juice brands, and another rooted in a true entrepreneurial, agile mindset.
With a global footprint of more than 2,000 associates that spans North America and Europe, we are proud of our industry-leading capabilities in areas that include innovation, R&D, manufacturing, distribution, sales, marketing, and nutrition expertise.
The company is focused on the vision to quench the world‘s thirst for more delight and nourishment while continuing to build upon the many important diversity, sustainability, local community, and philanthropic activities that our people and brands have historically supported.
Key Responsibilities:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Supply Chain Planning Change Leader to support the Supply Chain Planning Organization to ensure the company‘s goals and initiatives are met.
This role requires frequent interaction with internal and external supply chain and commercial partners. It requires hands-on experience in supply chain planning and operational roles, and the ability to influence the behaviors and execution of multiple resources within and outside of the supply chain planning team, and at all levels in the organization. Proven project and change management skills are necessary to influence and mobilize resources from various functions and disciplines to drive planning process efficiencies and reduce planning-related waste and costs. As new opportunities are addressed, this role will be accountable for leading the change management activities that will make the process changes sustainable and repeatable, with a focus on organizational adoption and adherence.
This role will work with demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing, product management, engineering, and demand planning teams to identify root causes and address people, process, or tools challenges that result in organizational capacity drain, excess and obsolete materials, and overall waste.
This role will be in the Bradenton, FL office and will require travel to the Chicago HQ or other TBG locations. The Supply Chain Planning team works with a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. More days in the office might be required based on business needs.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluate planning process effectiveness and efficiency as it relates to the generation of excess and obsolete inventory and recommend process changes to significantly reduce expiration of finished goods, liability of materials, and waste.
- Collaborate and drive alignment with key stakeholders across the business including planning, sales, product management, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and purchasing to implement a simplified and effective way to manage materials transitions to support the acceleration of new product launches to market while minimizing liabilities for existing finished goods, packaging components, and raw materials.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Finance and Transformation Office teams to identify and resolve opportunities for productivity improvement and product cost reduction, directly or indirectly impacted by Supply Chain Planning.
- Collaborate with Engineering and R&D on ideation and execution of projects to resolve short to mid-term production capacity constraints.
- Represent Supply Chain Planning in cost and feasibility studies for supply chain network changes and new product launches that require significant change of current state product network.
- Find creative ways to cover current process gaps while working in parallel to implement new capabilities for long-term planning process sustainability and success.
- Provide leadership, communication, coaching, motivation, and recognition of employees to strengthen competencies to optimize team’s and individuals’ professional growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or engineering.
- Must be located in the Bradenton, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
- Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations as required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- 10+ years of hands-on combined experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Warehouse & Transportation, Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, or CPG Project Management.
- Previous hands-on experience driving cost savings and productivity improvements within the CPG regulated industry.
- Understanding of COGS P&L drivers and levers, and the role Supply Chain can play to impact them.
- Proven success driving cross-functional leadership and team building within the context of project teams.
- Demonstrated organizational change management skills, focused on training, qualification, and long-term adoption of new processes and tools.
- Ability to travel 15%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills internally across levels within the organization and externally with customers.
- Understanding of ERP/MRP fundamentals, with at least 2 years of experience transacting.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to work with multiple priorities and challenging timelines.
