Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Product Management, with expertise in Furniture or Home Décor. As a leader in the Product Development team, you will drive all stages of the product development process, as well as having a hand in creating our future product strategy. This position is accountable for checkpoints and timelines through development stages, developing product strategy and roadmap, as well as defining and refining existing products. In this role collaboration is key with cross-functional teams to grow both B&M and ecommerce and align with the financial, merchandising, and company strategies.
Position Responsibilities
- Support VP to Develop product roadmaps across our brand family and core customers to grow revenue and achieve business goals.
- Drive Product Development process & timeline, collaborating with Sales, Design, Engineering, & Global Sourcing teams.
- Gather market & category analysis, competitive shop and analyze sales trends to keep abreast of current product and aesthetic trends. Identify emerging trends and new category growth opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders about product development progress and updates.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support product launch strategies.
- Manage showroom setup and samples for 4 domestic Furniture Markets (LV and HP)
- Travel to factories and trade shows both domestically and internationally, as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 7-10 years of experience in product management in the furniture industry
- Knowledge of furniture design, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
- Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis.
- Strong communication & collaboration skills, working with cross-functional teams such as design, engineering, and sales.
- Proven track record of launching successful products and managing product lifecycles.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Experience with Basecamp is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Microsoft Office (excel, Word, PPT) skills required and familiarity with CAD documentation.
