Responsibilities:

The Title Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing Work in Progress dashboard and reports to ensure files review and clearance
  • Performing data entry and processing information
  • Recording systems notes to document completed tasks and updated files
  • Performing public records review to determine property legal conditions, including mortgages, liens, and judgements
  • Identifying and resolving title curative issues
  • Ensuring timeframes and guidelines are met
  • Regularly communicating with internal stakeholders as well as clients, agents, and borrowers



Skills/ Competencies:

The ideal Title Specialist will possess these skills:

  • High school diploma; Bachelor’s preferred
  • 1+ years title or financial services industry experience
  • RamQuest closing operations system experience preferred
  • Ability to interpret purchase contacts, trust agreements, lender instructions, and other related documents
  • Ability to calculate interest, discounts, commissions, etc.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
