At Komodo, you will be joining a team of ambitious, supportive Dragons with diverse backgrounds but a shared passion to deliver on our mission to reduce the burden of disease and enjoy the journey along the way.The Opportunity At Komodo HealthKomodo Health is seeking a Finance Director of Corporate Development and Investor Relations to serve as the lead financial strategist for M&A, capital deployment, and external financial communication. This role, reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, is built for a candidate who thrives at the intersection of transaction analysis, investment banking, and public market readiness in a high-growth, complex SaaS environment.You will leverage your deep background in investment banking and corporate development to assess strategic opportunities, optimize capital structure, and provide the financial narrative required for investor relations and potential public market activities.Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have accomplishedLed Corporate Development Strategy: Successfully evaluated and recommended at least two major strategic opportunities via comprehensive Build vs. Buy vs. Partner analysis, securing executive approval for key capability gaps and laying the groundwork for execution.Formalized Transaction Governance: Established a strong governance and modeling framework for evaluating acquisition targets, including the structure for financial due diligence support and pro forma financial integration modeling.Enhanced Investor Readiness: Developed and maintained the analyst guidance model and core financial narrative, ensuring Komodo Health is prepared for future capital raising or public market events (IPO).Optimized Business Performance Metrics: Designed and maintained advanced SaaS KPI models (e.g., ARR, NDR, ARPU, Churn/Contraction/Expansion) across products and customer cohorts, providing actionable insights for the executive team to optimize growth strategies.Strategic Planning Support: Provided key inputs and scenario analysis (including bookings, expense, and cash burn) to the CFO to inform the long-range forecast and annual operating plan.These are the essential job duties you will be responsible for Corporate Development and M&A Leadership: Serve as the financial lead for all corporate development activities, owning target identification, comprehensive valuation modeling (DCF, comparable analysis), financial due diligence coordination, and pro forma integration modeling for potential acquisitions.The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.The starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company's sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan. This role may also be eligible for equity awards.
