We are working with a prestigious Real Estate Investment Firm in the Boston area to find a talented Senior Accounts Payable Associate.

- The Role: Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accounts Payable Associate will be essential in automating and enhancing the accounts payable process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a streamlined paperless accounts payable system.
- Manage the accounts payable workflow to ensure timely approvals for month-end closings.
- Verify and match tickets and invoices, addressing any discrepancies or missing documents.
- Enter authorized and matched invoices into the accounting software.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Prepare data for the monthly accrued expenses report.
- Maintain organized accounts payable records.
- Handle vendor inquiries and communications professionally.
- Assist with annual financial statement audits and other audit processes, such as tax and unemployment.
- Provide support to the Controller as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience with Yardi is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with automated accounts payable systems is a plus.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
