Collections AnalystIXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a Collections Analyst/Specialist to support the AR team with reducing the AR aging balance.The ideal candidate for this position is exceedingly well-organized, sociable, and independent. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high efficiency and accuracy is crucial.This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office.What You'll Be DoingOversee and analyze AR aging report monthly and build reporting functions for IXL and its subsidiariesProactively contact customers by phone and email for prompt resolution of overdue invoicesFollow up with customers on a bi-weekly basis and ensure active communication to prevent disruptions in serviceIdentify customer patterns and build processes to prevent future issuesReview purchase orders, sales contracts, and quotes for any potential discrepanciesReconcile internal sales database and NetSuite on a monthly basisManage and resolve customer inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional mannerPerform other related duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field1-3 years of accounting experience a plusDetail-oriented and exceptionally organizedStrong written and oral communication skillsProficient with Gmail, Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows OSEnergetic, mature, positive person who thrives on working independentlyAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with little supervisionMaintain confidentiality in all aspects of employee and company informationExperience with collections, NetSuite, and Salesforce a plusOur pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base hourly rate for this full-time position is $31.25 to $36.00 per hour + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the position.
